1synthesis methods
-

Yield:24870-12-0 78%

Reaction Conditions:

in ethyl acetate at 20; for 3 h;

Steps:

2.3.1 Synthesis of ligand acid (APA-1)

The ligand acid was obtained from the reaction of maleic anhydride with p-aminoacetophonene in ethyl acetate as shown in Scheme 1. A solution of maleic anhydride (1.0g, 10mmol) in 50ml ethyl acetate was added to a solution of p-aminoacetophonene (1.35g, 10mmol) in 50ml ethyl acetate in a 250ml conical flask. The mixture was stirred for three hours at room temperature. After stirring the precipitates of ligand acid were filtered and recrystallized with ethanol.
