Steps:

5.1.5 General procedure E for Suzuki coupling reactions

General procedure: Aryl halide (1 equiv), aryl boronic acid (1.2 equiv), Na2CO3 (3 equiv) and Pd(PPh3)4 (0.05 equiv) were protected by N2. 1,4-dioaxne/H2O=3:1 (0.1M) was added by syringe and the solution was stirred at 100°C overnight. After cooling to room temperature, the reaction mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate for 3 times. The combined organic layer was dried over anhydrous Na2SO4. After removal of the drying agent, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to afford the desired product.
