Example 2 IE4-(3,5-Dimethyl-[l,2,4]triazol-4-yl)-piperidine Example 21D (0.234 g, 0.856 mmol), Pd(OH)2/C (100 mg) in EtOH (20 mL) was hydrogenation under under 40 psi of ? for 12 hours at 40 °C. TLC (MeOH :dichloromethane = 1 :8 ) indicated the reaction was complete, the mixture was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuum. The residue was dried to give Example 21E (140 mg, 89.7%).
