General Procedure A -Hydrogenation

General procedure: Theappropriate nitro compound (1.00 equivalent) was dissolved to a concentrationof 0.3 m in dry MeOH and Pd/C(10 wt % on activated carbon) was added under N₂ atmosphere.Hydrogenation was performed under 1 bar H₂ pressure at rt for3 h. Subsequently, the reaction mixture was filtered through a pad ofcelite and the solvent was removed invacuo. If necessary, the crude product was purified by flash columnchromatography (FCC) using the indicated eluent
