Add 4-hydroxybenzoic acid (1.38g, 10mmol), potassium hydroxide (1.12g, 20mmol), ethanol (20mL), water (10mL) into a 100mL single-mouth flask, and add 4-fluorobenzyl bromide (3.78g, 20mmol) dropwise ), reflux for 9h. After the raw materials are completely reacted, add water (30mL), adjust the pH to 2.0 with concentrated hydrochloric acid, precipitate a solid, filter, wash with water, wash with n-hexane, and dry to obtain solid 4-fluorobenzyloxybenzoic acid (2.34g ), the yield is 95%.
