A mixture of 4-bromo-2-fluoroaniline (720 mg 3.79 mmol) in THF (30 mL) was added triphosgene (450 mg 1.516 mmol) . The mixture was stirred at 50 for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated to yield a light yellow oil of 4-bromo-2-fluoro-1-isocyanatobenzene (750 mg 3.47 mmol 92 yield) ES-LCMS m/z 249.9 (M+MeOH+H)
