A. N-(4-Chlorophenyl)-N-[(1H-imidazol-2yl)methyl]amine The title compound was prepared from 4-chloroaniline and 2-imidazole-carboxaldehyde by the same procedure as described in Example 24, part A. The residue was crystallized from ethyl acetate to afford the title compound (1.56 g, 72%) as an off white solid.
