The reaction of4-chloro-3-nitrobenzoic acid (0.202 g, 1.0 mmol), cyclohexanamine (0.150 g, 1.5mmol), copper powder (0.0064 g, 0.1 mmol), MI (0.036 g, 0.2 mmol), Cs2CO3 (0.98 g,3.0 mmol), TBAHS (0.068 g, 0.2 mmol) produced 0.230 g (87%) of4-(cyclohexylamino)-3-nitrobenzoic acid as a white solid.
