4-Hydrazinylthieno[3,2-c]pyridine, 22a

A mixture of 4-chlorothieno[3,2-c]pyridine (150 mg, 0.88 mmol) in hydrazine hydrate (4 mL) was stirred at 80° C. for 12 h.
The mixture was extracted with dichloromethane (30 mL*2).
The organic portion was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford a crude product (120 mg, 82%) as a yellow solid.
