The reaction raw material of the step (1) of this example was distilled under reduced pressure to a 2-hydroxytetrahydropyran having a purity of 96% by weight.62.5 g of the purified 2-hydroxytetrahydropyran was weighed, and 237.5 g of a 25% strength aqueous ammonia solution and a 20 wt% 2-hydroxytetrahydropyranium aqueous reaction liquid were added.The reaction solution and 4 g of the reduction activated catalyst were added to a 600 mL reaction vessel.Reacted at 2MPa H2 pressure 80 ° C for 6h,The reaction solution was analyzed by gas chromatography for the conversion of 2-hydroxytetrahydropyran to 100%.The yield of 5-amino-1-pentanol was 93%.The purity of the product after distillation under reduced pressure is 97%.
