Steps:

Dimethylsulfinimide (1 g) and 4-bromophenylboronic acid (4.96 g) were dissolved in methanol (20 mL), copper acetate (194.99 mg) was added at 25 °C, and the reaction solution was stirred at 30 °C for 24 h. . The reaction was monitored by LCMS for completion. The reaction solution was cooled to 25°C, after filtration, the filtrate was diluted with ethyl acetate (20 mL) and water (20 mL), the aqueous phase was extracted three times with ethyl acetate (100 mL), and the collected organic phase was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate Then, it was concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure to obtain Intermediate 1-2 (480 mg).
