Steps:

2 Step 2-tert-butyl 4-(3-nitrophenoxy)piperidine-1-carboxylate (1c)

Weigh 4-hydroxypiperidine-1-carboxylate 1b (8g, 40mmol), placed in 250mL round bottom flask, the reaction flask was added tetrahydrofuran (100 mL), stir. To the reaction flask were sequentially added m-aminophenol (4.36g, 40 mmol), triphenylphosphine (15.7g, 60mmol) and isopropyl azodicarboxylate (12g, 60mmol), stirring the reaction was raised to 70 4 h, concentrated under reduced pressure, the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (petroleum ether / ethyl acetate (v / v)= 4: 1) to give yellow oily 4 - (3-nitrophenoxy) piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl 1c (10.9g, yield 85%).
