First Step [Show Image] To a methanol solution (5 mL) of 6-nitro-1H-indazole-3-carboxylic acid (173 mg, 0.84 mmol), 10% palladium carbon (30 mg) was added, followed by stirring under a hydrogen gas flow at room temperature for 4 hours. The reaction mixture was filtered through cerite and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain 112 mg of 6-amino-1H-indazole-3-carboxylic acid.
