General Procedure for the Preparation of s-triazoles (series 3-5).
General procedure: Thiosemicarbazide derivatives 1 and 2 (0.01 mol) were dissolved in 2% solution of sodium hydroxide (20 mL) and heated under reflux for 2-3 h. After cooling, the solution wasneutralized with dilute hydrochloric acid. The precipitate (of white color) was filtered offand then crystallized from 95% ethanol.
