General procedure for the synthesis of 4a-4t
General procedure: To a solution of hydrazide (2) (1.0 mmol) in EtOH wasadded isothiocyanate (1.1 mmol). The reaction mixture wasrefluxed overnight and cooled to room temperature. Half ofthe solvent was removed under reduced pressure and theresidue was poured into ice. The precipitate was filtered andwashed with ice-cold EtOH to give a product.
