Intermediate S9-A 7-Bromo-4-chloro-2H-isoquinolin-1-one
Following the procedure in WO2009060209. A suspension of 7-bromo-1 - hydroxyisoquinoline (2.73 g, 12.2 mmol) and N-chlorosuccinimide (1 .95 g, 14.6 mmol) in MeCN (50 mL) was heated at 90 °C for 2 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and the resulting precipitate was collected and washed with MeOH, to yield 7- bromo-4-chloro-2H-isoquinolin-1 -one (2.24 g, 8.67 mmol, 71 %). 1H NMR (300MHz, DMSO-d6) δ = 1 1 .77 (br. s., 1 H), 8.31 (d, J = 2.2 Hz, 1 H), 8.02 (dd, J = 2.2, 8.7 Hz, 1 H), 7.75 (d, J = 8.7 Hz, 1 H), 7.54 (s, 1 H)
