Stage #2: tetralin in dichloromethane at 20; for 2 h;

Steps:

73.1 step 1:

Aluminum trichloride (6.4 g, 48.00 mmol) was suspended in dichloromethane (20 mL),Cool to about 0 degrees, under nitrogen protection, add dropwise a suspension of succinic anhydride (5.8 g, 57.96 mmol) in dichloromethane (20 mL), after the addition, react at 0 degrees for 1 h, then add tetrahydronaphthalene (3.0 g, 22.69 mmol) in dichloromethane (15 mL), returned to room temperature and reacted for 2 h, and TLC detected the reaction to be complete. The reaction solution was quenched by adding glacial hydrochloric acid solution (1M), extracted and separated, the organic phases were combined, washed with saturated brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and concentrated to obtain off-white solid C088-1 (4.6 g, yield 87%).
