General procedure: (for the synthesis of compounds 28, 36a-36e, 40a-40b) A solution amino-substituted phenylboronic acidpinacolate ester (10 mmol) in DCM (50 mL) was treated with sulfonylchloride (10.5 mmol), followed by pyridine (870 mg,11 mmol)at room temperature under an atmosphere of nitrogen and stirredovernight. After evaporation to dryness, the target compoundswere purified by flash column chromatography.
