Steps:
4.4-1 Step 1-4:
2-Bromopropane (106 mg, 0.87 mmol) was added into a solution of 4- hydroxybenzenesulfonamide (100 mg, 0.58 mmol) in aq. IN NaOH (1.2 mL) and DMF (5 mL). The mixture was stirred at 50 °C overnight. After cooling to room temperature, the mixture was diluted with EtOAc Π 0 mL") and washed with brine. The organic layers were dried over Na2S04, filtered, and concentrated. The residue was purified by Flash-Prep-HPLC ((IntelFlash-1): Column, CI 8; mobile phase, MeCN/H20, Detector, UV 254 nm) to give 4- isopropoxybenzenesulfonamide (4-1) (60 mg, 48%) as a yellow solid.
