To a stirring of HSO3CI (24.1 g, 207 mmol, 4.4 eq) was added compound 123-2 (10.0 g, 46.7 mmol, 1.0 eq) at 0 °C. After addition complete, the reaction mixture was stirred at 80 °C for 4 hours. TLC showed the starting material was consumed. The reaction mixture was added to ice (300 g) and then warm up to 25 °C. The suspension was extracted with EA (3 *80 mL) to obtain the title compound 123-3 (12 g, crude).
