General procedure: The respective alcohol (10.0mmol) was added to a mixture of PPh₃ (12.0mmol), DDQ (12.0mmol), and 4-bromoanilines 18a (10.0mmol) in CH₂Cl₂ (30mL). The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 2h. Then, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and the crude product was purified by silica gel column chromatography using ethyl acetate/petroleum ether as eluent to afford 18b-d.
