EXAMPLE XXI A mixture of 21 parts of cis-1-acetyl-4-{4-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-ylmethoxy]phenyl}piperazine, 10 parts of potassium hydroxide and 200 parts of 1-butanol is stirred and refluxed overnight. The reaction mixture is cooled and benzene is added. The whole is washed with water, dried, filtered and evaporated. The residue is crystallized from 4-methyl-2-pentanone. The product is filtered off and dried, yielding 13.9 parts (71%) of cis-1-{4-[2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-2-(1H-imidazol-1-ylmethyl)-1,3-dioxolan-4-ylmethoxy]phenyl}-piperazine; mp. 170.7° C.
