Steps:

1 Preparation of 2-methyl-3-(o-tolyl)quinazolin-4 (3H)-one
In a closed quartz reaction tube, ethanol (0.6 mmol), photosensitizer Eosin Υ (lmmol%) and DMSO (2 mL) were added, and the reaction was carried out under a condition of oxygen and 25 °C for 20 hours under irradiation of a xenon lamp (400 to 720 nm); Then, 2-amino-N-(o-tolyl)benzamide (0.2 mmol) and PTSA (2 mmol%) were added to the quartz reaction tube under irradiation with a xenon lamp (400 to 720 nm), oxygen and 25 °C. After reacting for 24 hours, after the reaction is completed, the mixture is distilled under reduced pressure and separated by column chromatography (ΕΑ: ΡΕ = 1:8) to obtain a target compound.98% yield of the target compound 2-methyl-3-(o-tolyl)quinazoline-4(3H)-one
