356.3 Step 3: N-Methyl-1-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)methanamine
A solution of methanamine (311 mg, 10 drofuran (5 mL) was added dropwise to a solution of 3-(chloromethyl)-1H-pyrazole (300 mg, 2.57 mmol) in tetrahydrofuran (5 mL). The mixture was stirred for 10 minutes at room temperature. The solvent was removed by distillation under vacuum to afford N-methyl-1-(1H-pyrazol-3- yl)methanamine (300 mg, 1.62 mmol, 63% yield) as a yellow oil. LCMS m/z = 112.1 [M+H]+
