Steps:
1 Preparation Example 1: Preparation of (E) -isobutyraldehyde oxime (1-I-2)
Isobutyraldehyde (1-I-1; 6.33 mL, 69.3 mmol) was dissolved in 100 ml of EtOH: H2O = 1: 1 solution under nitrogen, followed by Na2CO3 (9.55 g, 90.1 mmol) and hydroxyamine hydrochloride (HONH2- HCL; 6.26 g, 90.1 mmol) was added.The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 10 hours.When the reaction was completed, extraction was performed using distilled water and ether, and the organic layer was dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 5.89 g (yield 98%) of the title compound (1-I-2).
