Steps:

A; A Intermediate 149: 3,7-Dimethyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridazine-6-carbaldehyde

Step A: N,6-Dimethylpyridazin-3-amine. Into a 5000-mL pressure tank reactor, was placed 3-chloro-6-methylpyridazine (200 g, 1.56 mol) and CH₃NH₂/MeOH (3000 mL, 30% wt). The resulting solution was heated overnight at 110° C. After this time, the reaction mixture was cooled and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was washed with 1000 mL of petroleum ether and dried in an oven under reduced pressure to provide the title compound (210 g), which was used in the next step without further purification.
