tert-Butyl 4-(benzylcarbamoyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (0.13 8 g, 433 imol) was dissolved in DCM (1 mL) and HC1 2M in diethyl ether (2.17 mL, 4.33 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h. The residue was concentrated in vacuo to yield the compound (108 mg) as a colorless oil. MS (ESI): mlz = 219.15 [M+H].
