General procedure: The amidation reaction was first conducted between benzaldehyde, piperidine, CoNP (0.5 mol.%) as catalyst, and hydrogen peroxide as oxidant. The reaction was conducted at 70 °C for 1-5 h depending on the substrates. Subsequently, the catalyst was tested with various substrates and nitrogen precursors.
