5synthesis methods
-

Yield: 90%

Reaction Conditions:

with hydroxylamine hydrochloride;sodium carbonate in water;ethyl acetate at 0 - 20;Inert atmosphere;

Steps:

4 Example 4: Synthesis of m-phenylenediamine
Under the protection of nitrogen, add 20.3 g of isophthaloyl chloride, 100 ml of ethyl acetate and 50 ml of water into a 500 ml three-necked flask, add 13.9 g of hydroxylamine hydrochloride hydrochloride at room temperature, and then add dropwise under ice bath, 21.2 g of sodium carbonate is dissolved in 50 ml of water. After the addition, the temperature is gradually increased from 0°C to room temperature and the reaction is stirred overnight. Subsequently, 100 ml of 2N hydrochloric acid was added to the reaction system to precipitate a white solid, which was washed with saturated brine, dried and concentrated to obtain 17.6 g of the target product isophthaloyl hydroxamic acid, with a yield of 90%.
