In a 250 mL three-necked flask with mechanical stirring, 10 g of perfluorobutyl ethylene, 80 g of water, 10 g of concentrated sulfuric acid and 0.1 g of tetrabutylmethylammonium bromide were added, and the mixture was stirred uniformly. 19.2 g of potassium permanganate was slowly added in batches and stirred for 3 h. Then, 20 g of methyl tert-butyl ether was added, and the mixture was stirred uniformly and filtered. The filtrate was left to stand for stratification, and the lower layer of colorless and transparent solution was taken out and distilled under reduced pressure to obtain 8.7 g of a colorless and transparent solution with a yield of 86.3% and an analytical purity of 99.1% by GC-MS.
