0.25 g of 5-fluoro-2'-deoxyuridine (5-FdU) was dissolved in 10 mL of dry tetrahydrofuran, and 1 ml of 1 M tert-butylmagnesium chloride in THF was added and stirred for 0.5 h.A solution of 0.8 g of ii-2 dissolved in 2 ml of THF was added with stirring and stirred for 12 h. The organic layer was evaporated to dryness, and the residue was applied to silica gel column chromatography, eluting with methylene chloride:methanol:triethylamine (100:5:1). 0.11g
