General procedure: 1.8mg of nickel triflate and 1.25mg of (S,S)-Ph-BPE were added to a 10ml Schlenk reaction tube or autoclave, 2ml of trifluoroethanol was added and stirred at room temperature for 20 minutes, then 0.25mmol of different fats were added Family gamma- or delta-ketoacid substrates.
