Yield:15484-44-3 92.7 %

Reaction Conditions:

with tetrabutyl-ammonium chloride;copper(l) chloride;sodium sulfite in water at 50;Reagent/catalyst;Temperature;Time;

Steps:

6-8; 10 Example 8

Add 440 ml of water to the three-necked flask, then add 0.8 mol of sodium sulfite, 0.08 mol of copper chloride, and 0.02 mol of tetrabutylammonium chloride.Heat to 50°C, then slowly add 4 mol of 1-bromo-2-chloroethane dropwise for 1 hour, and then continue to stir and react at 50°C for 0.5 hour, and the reaction ends.The reaction solution was slightly cooled to 40°C, allowed to stand and separated into layers, the 1-bromo-2-chloroethane in the lower layer was recovered, and the upper aqueous layer was evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain a slurry residue, and 500ml of methanol was added to the residue, Reflux for 0.5h and filter while hot to remove sodium chloride, cool the filtrate to 0°C for 2h, precipitate crystals from the filtrate, after filtration, use the filtrate as the mother liquor for dissolving the slurry residue, and dry the filter cake at 50°C to obtain the target The yield of the product 2-sodium chloroethylsulfonate is 92.7%, and the purity of chromatographic analysis is 99.5%.
