The crude alcohol from Preparative Example 222, step A (0.4 g, 1.78 MMOL) in CH2CI2 (4 mL) was added SOCI2 (0.65 mL, 8.91 MMOL) and the mixture was stirred for 2 h at rt. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford 407 mg (94%) of a light yellow solid. M+H = 243. The crude product was taken on without further purification
