5synthesis methods
-

Yield:-

Reaction Conditions:

in chloroform-d1 at -40; for 1 h;

Steps:

Synthesis of [pyBrF3]
87.5 mg of BrF3 (0.64 mmol, 1 eq.) wasplaced in an FEP tube. The reaction vessel was cooled down to -40 °Cby immersing it into cold perfluorinated oil. Then 1 mL of precooledCDCl3 was added to the vessel. After 2-3 min 56.0 mg of cold pyridine(0.71 mmol, 1.1 eq.) was added dropwise. After stirring the formationof white precipitate was observed immediately. The vessel was kept at-40 °C for 1 h with occasional shaking. Then the temperature was increasedto -10 °C and the excess of CDCl3 and pyridine was removed byseveral hours of evacuation. The product was kept at -35 °C in afreezer.
