2-Phospho-L-ascorbic Acid Trisodium Salt is a long-lasting vitamin C derivative used in studies of gene repression. Maximizes the benefical properties of vitamins C for personal care and a main active ingredient in medicated cosmetics for whitening. Also, it is substrate in the chromoamperometric method to detect tungsten in water.Biochem/physiol Actions
L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate (AA2P) is used in biocatalytic dephosphorylation for electric power generation and electrochemical detection assays. L-Ascorbic acid 2-phosphate may be used in cell differentiation and tissue engineering applications.
