| Uses | Lactamide is used as a synthetic raw material in organic chemistry, as an additive in cosmetics, and as a preservative in frozen semen and fertilized eggs in livestock reproduction studies. | | Definition | ChEBI:Lactamide is a monocarboxylic acid amide that is lactic acid
