Pigment Blue 29, also known as Ultramarine Blue PB29, is one of the widely used paints. It is one of the darkest pigments, being on the darker side, and can be used to make deeper colours (even grey) with burnt umber, burnt amber or semi-transparent brown (Schmincke Pbr41), the latter being similar to the brighter burnt umber. It is also commonly used in paints, rubber, plastics, inks, tarpaulins, lacquers and construction as a blue pigment. | [Properties and Applications]
