A cell-permeable benzenesulfonamide compound that acts as a selective TRPV4 antagonist and inhibits TRPV4 agonist 4α-PDD- (Cat. No. 524394) stimulated Ca2+ influx (IC50 = 2.3, 3.2 and 5.9 μM, respectively, in HEK293 expressing human, rat, or mouse TRPV4) without affecting the activity of three other human TRP (transient receptor potential) channels, including capsaicin- (Cat.
