乙烯基膦酸为无色透明至淡黄色液体，其结构中含有一个不饱和键，可以灵活地转化为其它有机膦化合物。
应用
乙烯基膦酸可以作为共聚型膦系阻燃剂、助黏剂、牙科陶瓷和水泥中光诱导自硬的成分等。在阻燃应用方面，以乙烯基膦酸为主要重复单元制备的对水性介质显示良好分散性且具有优异的阻燃性的核-壳型高分子微粒性能良好。
制备方法
双(2-氯乙基)-2-氯乙基膦酸酯在催化剂作用下，经光气或者二氯亚砜酰化，获得乙烯基膦酰氯与2-氯乙基膦酰氯的混合物，通过减压精馏方式将乙烯基膦酰氯与2-氯乙基膦酰氯分离，水解乙烯基膦酰氯与2-氯乙基膦酰氯便能够得到乙烯基膦酸与乙烯利。乙烯基膦酸价格(试剂级)
