Verwenden
Ethyl 2-furoate has been suggested for use in flavor compositions, mainly in berry flavor imitations, Grape, Wine, etc. However, this material is NOTincluded in the G. R.A.S. list of the U.S. Federal Register.
Vorbereitung Methode
Ethyl 2-furoate is produced from Furfural by oxidation to 2-Furoic acid, followed by esterification.
