TEMPO methacrylate (4-Methacryloyloxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl) may be employed as counter radical for polymerization of styrene.
Uses
2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-[(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-propenyl)oxy]-1-piperidinyloxy is used in the synthesis of Poly(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyloxy-4-yl methacrylate). Poly(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyloxy-4-yl methacrylate) has application in batteries and solar cells.
