Uses

m-3M3FBS is used in biological studies as phospholipase C activator m-3M3FBS effects on Ca2+ homeostasis independently of phospholipase C activation.

Biological Activity

Activator of phospholipase C (PLC). Stimulates superoxide generation, Ca 2+ release and inositol phosphate formation in a variety of cell types.

Biochem/physiol Actions

First known direct activator of phospholipase C (activates β2, β3, γ1, γ2, δ1 isoforms).
