개요

This alkaloid is fairly widespread among a number of Pandaca species but is primarily obtained from P. caducifolia. It furnishes colourless prisms from MeOH and is optically active having a specific rotation of [α]D + 350° (MeOH). The structure has been determined from chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
