10H-spiro[acridine-9,9'-xanthene] could used as an intermediates of photoelectric materials to fabricate a TADF OLED emitter. Since its good donor properties and the expectation of a large dihedral angle arising from steric repulsion by the two H atoms in the peri-position, it was commonly selected as a wide-gap donor moiety to fabricate highly efficient blue TADF materials whit diphenylsulphone (DPS) as an electron acceptor[1]. 10H-spiro[acridine-9,9'-xanthene] is also used to construct phosphine oxide (PO) hosts through introducing one or two diphenylphosphine oxide groups at 2 and 7 positions of acridine ring, respectively.
