일반 설명
Monoclonal Anti-β-Galactosidase (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the hybridoma produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from an immunized mouse. β ?galactosidase is a E coli protein and is a tetramer with 1023 amino acids.
Biochem/physiol Actions
β ?galactosidase substrate is lactose. Synthetic substrates like o-nitrophenyl-β-d-galactopyranoside (oNPG) or p-nitrophenyl-β-d-galactopyranoside (pNPG) are used in enzymatic assays. It is also used as marker in studying gene expression. The use of monoclonal β -galactosidase anti- β -galactosidase (BGABG) soluble complex in the unlabeled antibody-enzyme method results in an intense signal with a very low background.
