Heart CA has been used in the Mycobacterium lipid extraction and in β- Hexosaminidase release and calcium mobilization assays. It maybe used for liposome synthesis. It may also be used as a lipid standard for the in situ analysis and characterization of cardiolipins.일반 설명
Cardiolipin is a phospholipid found in the inner membrane of the mitochondria. It is synthesized from phosphatidylglycerol and cytidinediphosphate-diacylglycerol. It consists of two phosphatidyl residues, which are linked by a glycerol group.Biochem/physiol Actions
Cardiolipin is involved in maintaining the structure and function of the mitochondria. It also serves as a co-factor for stimulating mitochondrial enzymes and mediates mitochondrial apoptosis. Cardiolipin is associated with the oxidative phosphorylation system for the adenine triphosphate (ATP) synthesis in the inner membrane of the mitochondria.
