개요
Papaver macrostomum Boiss. yields this isoquinoline alkaloid which has the
tentative structure shown above in which the positions of the hydroxyl and
methoxyl groups may be reversed. The base gives an ultraviolet spectrum in EtOH having absorption maxima at 241,285,321 and 332 nm with shoulders
at 277 and 291 nm.
