Human Isocitrate Dehydrogenase (IDH1) is useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. It may be useful as a biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis prediction of non-small cell lung cancer .일반 설명
Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) gene is located on human chromosome 2q33. IDH1 is present in the cytoplasm and peroxisomes. It is expressed at high levels in the mammalian liver. IDH1 consists of a C-terminal tripeptide peroxisome, that targets the signal one sequence.Biochem/physiol Actions
Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) help in the oxidative carboxylation of isocitrate to α-ketoglutarate, that results in the formation of reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH). It participates in lipid metabolism and glucose sensing.
