Description | Carboxyfluorescein is a derivatives of fluorescein. lt iscommonly used to label biomolecules through a reaction involving the carboxyl group. Unlike itssuccinimidyl ester derivative CFSE, Carboxyfluorescein is membrane impermeant.As a result,it can be used in studies of membrane permeability.
